soberlife.rw (“we,” “us,” “our”) runs a community-built guide to alcohol-free spots, events, and crews in Kigali. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
If you submit a spot, event, or crew, or reach out to join a WhatsApp channel, you may share details like a name, WhatsApp number, or details about the place or event you’re listing. We only use this to review and publish the submission, or to add you to the community channel you asked to join.
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how people use the site — things like page views, general location (city or country level), device type, and referring site. This data is aggregated and is not used to build a profile of you individually. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t run ad-tracking pixels.

We link out to third-party services we don’t control, including WhatsApp, Instagram, and Buy Me a Coffee. Anything you share on those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
We keep submitted content for as long as it’s useful to the community, or until you ask us to remove it. Aggregate analytics data is retained by Vercel per their standard retention windows.
You can ask us to update or remove a submission at any time. You can also decline non-essential cookies from the cookie banner, or clear your browser’s local storage to reset your preference.
soberlife.rw isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
